Answer of Enzo Di Maio, M.D.: Candida Albicans is a fungus, which existed even before the birth of human beings. For many millenniums, it didn’t provoke any kind of problems, for this reason it is considered a saprophyte. Question: how an infection by Candida could be transmitted? Answer of Enzo Di Maio, M.D.: many medical books, consider Candida a sexual transmission infection. Statistically, we could point out that in the 50% of couples both partners manifest the symptoms, whereas in the other 50% only one partner manifests them. For this reason, the primary way of transmission cannot be a sexual one because, if it was like that, we should have a 100% percentage of suffering people. Question: could you kindly explain how does it happen? Answer of Enzo Di Maio, M.D.: the great increase in the number of Candida’s colonies happens when the subject is in a stress condition. And…..I assure you that nowadays it is very common to find people in these conditions. The stress is due to many reasons: work, school, economic situation, idleness, sedentary life, bad and unhealthy alimentation, but there are a lot of further reason, isn’t true? Question: what are the consequences of Candida Albicans infection on human beings? Answer of Enzo Di Maio, M.D.: Candida Albicans can provoke several kinds of symptoms concerning all the human apparatus. Question: could you please quote some examples? Answer of Enzo Di Maio, M.D.:as concerns the genital and urinary apparatus, in women, we can quote vaginitis, vulvo-vaginitis, recurrent cystitis, instead in men we can quote balanopostiti, inflammations of penis, recurrent cystitis, prostatitis, anal inflammations. All this, causes locally, burnings, unrestrainable itches, difficulties in urinating, etc. When there are these symptoms even in one partner, there could be a case of “dispareunia”, that is to say, difficult sexual relations, with burnings and/or pain. As concerns the digestive apparatus, we can quote the syndrome of irritable colon, swellings, diarrhoea and/or constipation and alimentary intolerances. As concerns the skin, we can quote the seborrhoic dermatitis, every kind of psoriasis, vitiligo, eczemas. As concerns the nervous system, we can quote recurrent depressions, anxiety crisis, greed for the “four P” (Pasta, Pizza, Pane-bread, Potatoes). As concerns the skeleton apparatus, it is very common the arthritis…… However there are also many cases in which Candida manifests itself together with other diseases. Question: how is it possible to eliminate or reduce the Candida symptoms in the genital apparatus? Answer of Enzo Di Maio, M.D.: there are in business many medicines for topic use…But since my professional experience, they are useless and with a certain degree of toxicity. In these last years I have been prescribing, the Shivax® G to all my patients, men and women. It is sufficient to put it twice a day in the interested areas: day after day the symptoms will reduce. It is important to notice that the Shivax® G is totally natural and lacking in toxicity: it is the only I know, that can be recommended during pregnancy and breast feeding…and during pregnancy a Candida Albicans infection is almost sure (at 100%). Answer of Enzo Di Maio, M.D.: in the last 20-30 years the percentage of people suffering from Candida is greatly increased. Personally, visiting for example 30 women, I noticed that 27 among them wanted a gynaecologic visit for problems connected with Candida. It is a fact that every gynaecologist witnesses every day… Question: since your twenty years experience on this topic, how is it possible to treat Candida, once for all? Answer of Enzo Di Maio, M.D.: firstly it is necessary to understand the causes of such an increase in Candida’s colonies. Secondly it is important to reduce the number of toxins accumulated in the organism, in order to restore the lost balance and the immunitary system. Question: pratically, how is it possible to obtain this? Answer of Enzo Di Maio, M.D.: after an accurate study on the subject it is possible to establish a program of detoxification together with a two months lasting personalized alimentation. Meanwhile I prescribe the “supplements”…..that I use to call “the friends that help to push a car with a flat battery”, prepared by a good chemist. They will be chosen according to the subject and according to that particular period of his life. If there is an infection at genital level I use to prescribe Shivax® G.
